Smile Analysis and Design
-
Computer Smile Imaging
Professional digital photographs of your smile are taken and computer software is utilized to create simulated smile solutions. This is an excellent exercise to allow a patient to see and have input on how they want their smile to look-before any actual changes are made. -
Diagnostic Wax Up
We can also develop a custom wax prototype of your smile. This is created on top of an actual model of your teeth. It is developed to be used as a “blue-print” or ”rough draft” of the proposed changes to your smile. Once treatment is initiated, you get to take this new smile for a “test-ride” in your mouth. This can be further customized until you are happy with your new smile. This refined prototype is then duplicated and sent with your case to be used as a communication tool with our lab technician when developing the final restorations.
Esthetic Tooth Reshaping
Using special instruments, we can reshape the edges of a tooth to give a more youthful or esthetically pleasing shape.
